With the variety of employer seals that exist in Germany and around the world, it's not so easy to keep track of them all. When it came to certifying our working environment, we opted for independent institutes that focus their analysis on our corporate culture and our working conditions – and that primarily draw on feedback from our team. After all, who would be better suited to authentically evaluate our working world than those who fill it with life every day?
We have once again been designated an "Attractive Employer" for 2022 by the international research and consulting institute Great Place to Work®. The "Great Place to Work® Certified" program stands for a special commitment to shaping workplace culture. Topics of the team survey, which is the basis for certification, included trust in leaders, team spirit, fairness, appreciation, respect, and identification with the company. In addition, the management was surveyed as part of a culture audit to determine which measures and programs had been implemented to shape an attractive corporate culture. The results of the two surveys ("Great Place to Work®" employee survey & culture audit) are weighted at a ratio of 3:1. The focus is therefore on the employee survey.
In 2022, we also scored points in two special Great Place to Work® competitions: we were ranked among the top 20 percent of employers in both the information and telecommunications technology sector (ITC for short) and in North Rhine-Westphalia. The awards stand for special commitment to shaping a trusting and supportive culture of cooperation in companies; they are awarded based on data from the "Great Place to Work®" survey. According to Great Place to Work®, the ITC sector is especially progressive in terms of workplace culture, which makes the award as "Best Employers in ITC 2022" something very special for us.
The Top Company seal is awarded by kununu to companies that are rated particularly highly on Europe's largest employer review platform. Since it is assigned independently and based on data, the seal is considered to be particularly authentic. The requirements are at least six reviews from employees, at least one of which must be from the last twelve months, and an average score of at least 3.8 stars over the past twelve months. According to kununu, only around five percent of companies qualify for the Top Company seal, which is awarded annually.
This is what our team says in the "Great Place to Work®" survey:
