For 25 years, quality experts at Babtec have been developing software solutions for professional quality management. In its anniversary year, the company with headquarters in Wuppertal is preparing for the future with a renewal of both content and appearance – and is celebrating a big anniversary party.
This year Babtec released a special software release with the symbolic number "7". With new and further developed software modules, the specialist for digitalized quality management takes account of the fact that differences in quality are becoming increasingly important for success on the market. This applies in particular to Germany as an industrial location, which has always been characterised by a high level of ambition to manufacture high-quality products. Babtec would like to support this idea by the large release also in the future with enterprises from Germany and in the whole world. The in-house BabtecQ software now has a CAD integration module for stamping and managing drawings from the production context. The FMEA module was further developed according to the harmonization of AIAG and VDA. And through advanced interfaces, the connection with SAP systems was also optimized. Optically, the software producer is also relying on new impulses, for example through an individually configurable dashboard and user interfaces within the software that can be used even more intuitively. In addition to the innovations in the product, the modernized corporate design also shines in new splendour and a website relaunch improves usability.
But the celebration should not be neglected in the anniversary year either: Last Saturday, the top management invited the employees of all locations as well as some guests of honour to an anniversary celebration in Wuppertal. Managing Director Waios Kastanis sees the event primarily as a thank-you to the employees: "This year we take the liberty of being proud of ourselves and our company, and above all of the extraordinary and creative people who have chosen us as their employer. We would like to thank these people with a big party."
The managing directors Michael Flunkert and Waios Kastanis look back with pride on a 25-year history characterised by dynamic growth. Wuppertal has long been the main location of the company, which was founded in Solingen in 1994. Three further locations in Dresden, Villingen-Schwenningen and Wels in Austria are part of the group. Since 2001 there has also been a partnership with a research and development institution in Palma on Mallorca. More than 160 employees are currently employed by the specialist for quality management solutions, who was awarded as a particularly good employer by the Great Place to Work® employee survey in its anniversary year. Babtec founder and managing director Michael Flunkert considers his team well prepared for the future: "Our product is absolutely timeless. Because quality is the most important success factor of any company. This will also be the case in the future. Together with our partners, customers and our team, we design the future of quality management every day".
