Our World of Work Has Been Awarded!

We were very happy at the virtual presentation of the results by the renowned "Great Place to Work®" institute: Babtec has made it into the top 20 percent of the best employers in Germany. We also scored in the competition for the information and telecommunications technology industry (ITC for short) as well as in the NRW competition and were placed among the top 20 percent of employers. "We have put a lot of time, effort, heart and soul into our workplace culture over the past few years," says Dagmar Henkel, who is responsible for human resources at our company as part of the top management. " So, it is even more rewarding to see how positively this work is rated by our team members. At the same time, the results of the team survey also give us valuable input for our development potential."

How the Certification Program Works

Both certification and participation in the competitions are based on an anonymous and representative survey of our employees, in which an above-average number of team members (85 percent) participated. The topics of the survey included trust in leaders, team spirit, fairness, appreciation, respect, and identification with the company. In addition, the management was surveyed in a culture audit to determine which measures and programs had been implemented to create an attractive corporate culture. The results of the two surveys ("Great Place to Work®" employee survey & culture audit) are weighted at a ratio of 3:1. The focus is therefore on the rating given by employees.

Our Results at Great Place to Work®

90 percent of Babtec employees who took part in the survey agree: "All in all, I can say this is a very good place to work" – and 82 percent would recommend Babtec as an employer. The new model for flexible working hours and location, which was introduced at our company last year, also scores particularly well in the team survey: 86 percent of our team see the new working model as a clear improvement over the old model.

Further Awards from kununu and FOCUS

As icing on the cake, this year we also received the Top Company award from the employer rating platform kununu and the FOCUS Top Small and Medium-Sized Employer 2022 seal. For Dagmar Henkel, this was a very special moment: "What touches me about these employer awards is that they are all directly attributable to feedback from the team members who live our workplace culture every day. There can't be a nicer compliment for our work. This gives us even more motivation for all the exciting projects that are already waiting in the wings!"
