Through three exciting career events, we were able to further expand our cooperation with the University of Wuppertal this week and last week. Babtec visited the university, but also the students could have a closer look at our company.
Since 2015, the BUW's "Praxis trifft Campus" event has offered a very special kind of job fair. High up in the Sparkassenturm with a beautiful view of the Grifflenberg campus, representatives of well-known companies are brought together with a deliberately small circle of students.
Particularly personal is the contact between prospective applicants and the working world. The event is accompanied by a delicious buffet, which invites you to eat together and exchange ideas. A relaxed get-together afterwards is also part of the event. We have come to appreciate the exclusivity and humanity of "Praxis trifft Campus"!
In cooperation with the IHK Wuppertal-Solingen-Remscheid and six regional companies, the University of Wuppertal organised the popular excursion weeks again this year. Babtec was for the third time a destination that the shuttle bus with up to 35 students serves - and one of the fully booked companies.
In our headquarters in Wuppertal with the affiliated Northern Office, students from various faculties got a profound insight into the working world of Babtec. In addition to a detailed company tour, short presentations were given by the heads of all departments with interesting information on job profiles, tasks and career opportunities. There was time for networking and questions as well as the possibility of giving a speed-feedback to the company.
We would like to thank the University of Wuppertal for the organization of these great career events and are already curious to see which students will seize the opportunity for an interesting and enriching job in the software industry this year. We are looking forward to next year, when it will be again: University meets Company!
