Slightly above 20 degrees, sunshine, a closed-off course along the B7, motivated runners and an audience that knew how to spur them on – the best conditions for the 10th Schwebebahnlauf in Wuppertal!
Last Sunday was the day: the virtual Schwebebahnlauf of the last years was exchanged for a hybrid form, where again numerous runners gathered on the B7 in Wuppertal Barmen. A total of around 2,500 runners took part in the five-kilometer company run, which started at around 3:30 p.m. on sunday afternoon. This year's running course led in three laps along the B7. With shouting cheers and refreshing drinks, helpers and the public were able to motivate the runners from the side of the road.
As the company run has become a tradition for us, this year 30 runners, consisting of colleagues as well as family and friends, were happy to compete for Team Babtec. Gripped by sporting ambition and collegial spirit, everyone reached the finish line – with results to be proud of!
